BUDDY DRIVES HIS TEAM TO ANOTHER VICTORY!!!

June 13, 2015 - The 15 year old drives to his fourth win of his sophomore late model season on the 1/2 mile banked oval at Kern County Raceway Park!  AND, earned another fast qualifying time!

It was a hot race day, Buddy took advantage of the greasy track and threw down a blistering fast qualifying time of 18.885, second fast was a 19.024!

Buddy started P6 in the first 35 lap main, made it three wide several times to find himself in the P2 position on a restart with 3 laps to go.  He drove his hot rod to a close finish, only missing the win by 1/4 of a car length.  He had the fans standing and cheering as he crossed the finish line!  As the crew made a few minor adjustments Buddy started P3 in the second 35 lap main. On the start he made it three wide again in turn 1 and took the lead on the back straightaway, never looking back.  He was challenged once, however, with his smooth driving style and focus on the win, he found himself taking the checkered flag first and celebrated in victory lane with crew, fans, family and sponsors after his super cool burnout!
